Employer Insight visits offer OU students a unique opportunity for you to visit and explore a sector or an organisation that interests you, find out more about their training and placement programmes, learn about employment prospects, obtain helpful hints on application and interview processes and ask any further questions to help you take your next steps.

The BBC is the world’s leading public service broadcaster offering a wide range of careers in the areas of journalism, broadcasting, technology as well as corporate roles such as HR, legal, finance and administration. The visit will offer the opportunity of a short studio tour, introduction to their latest technology and careers overview. The BBC are offering OU students the opportunity to visit them in Manchester on 14^th October. Please note that we are restricted to a small group of students and would encourage you to complete your expression of interest (taking care to select your preferred venue via the dropdown list) as soon as possible but no later than 6 September. A further visit to The BBC in Glasgow is planned for later in the year and details will be posted on StudentHome as soon as they become available.
