Take part in the Babson Challenge to develop entrepreneurial skills

The Babson Collaborative Challenge is a student entrepreneurship competition that encourages teams from member universities to develop innovative business concepts aligned with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Students are placed into teams to explore business opportunities that address important social and environmental challenges and assess their feasibility as potential new ventures.

The competition takes place in two stages: first, an Open University competition selects the top team(s), and then winning teams compete in a global competition against participants from other institutions.

Key learning outcomes include:

  • Applying entrepreneurship concepts and opportunity assessment skills to a real-world project.
  • Strengthening critical thinking and innovation skills to create value for society and stakeholders.
  • Gaining a deeper understanding of global social challenges and the role of entrepreneurship
