Getting the skills you need to succeed in a new role or sector can be challenging, but a great way you can gain valuable experience is to take up a short placement or internship. We've got an opportunity that can help you do just that! Tees Valley Wildlife Trust are offering an OU exclusive two-week paid placement as a Conservation Assistant.

You’ll take part in their barn owl project, gaining hands-on skills in determining owl diets and identifying skeletons. On top of this you’ll also work with data and pie charts, exercise your teamwork skills, and help at public events.

This a great opportunity to add some weight to your CV whilst getting paid £630 to do it. If you think it sounds like a hoot and want to give it owl you’ve got, then find out more about the placement and apply before 2 August on OpportunityHub at: http://bit.ly/TeesConservationInternship
