Back for the third year, the OU is teaming up with Santander Universities to offer OU students the chance to win one of 10 £1,000 cash grants in a free draw.

To enter, students need to be currently enrolled, be based in the UK, and then sign up via Santander’s Becas platform. Sign up is open now and applications close at 23:00 on 30 November 2023. 

The offer of support for students couldn’t come at a better time with the cost-of-living crisis threatening to make it a challenging winter for students in the UK. The grants can be used for a variety of purposes including living expenses or on study resources such as laptops, textbooks and stationery to aid learning, and is open to all OU students. You also don’t need to be a Santander customer.

One of last year’s lucky winners said the cash was put to good use to help with their studies…

Santander Universities is the philanthropic arm of Santander that supports 83 university partners with funding and student opportunities in education, employability and entrepreneurship.

The Open University has just renewed its partnership with Santander Universities for a further 3 years, to include this annual programme of £10,000 in grants for students to support their studies through the Santander Scholarship Platform.
