This is a rare opportunity to work within Network Rail's traction power modelling team. This team models future train timetables for electric and battery trains and defines the infrastructure required to power them. This includes grid connection points, power feeding arrangements and even earthing arrangements. This placement will offer plenty of scope to apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
